HOW WE STARTED
JAMES & SHANA BOEHM
​are the owners & founders of Tamim Works, LLC.
James grew up homeschooled with a dad that was a wood shop teacher & craftsman himself. While he learned much from his father, he decided to attend an automotive technical school in Laramie, Wyoming. James started building high-end hotrods and naturally, as an artist, he spanned into building everything.
James and Shana met and married in 2009 in Bridge City, Texas. They moved to Fredericksburg in 2021 and continued Tamim Works as their enduring venture.
​James is the head craftsmen & builder while Shana is head of the financial & administrative aspect of Tamim Works.
You may also meet Ruby, their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, out and about on a beautiful day in Fredericksburg.

HOW WE GREW
James and Shana met John and Edit Crabtree and their son Sam in Fredericksburg at a winery. The Boehms quickly forged a firm friendship with John and Edit and over time, were folded into Tamim Works naturally.
John's skill sets are interior design and client relations, while also assisting James in builds. Edit assists in the visual storytelling via photography, marketing & social media.

James & John collaborate on all designs and work seamlessly as a design team commencing with the initial vision, aesthetics during construction to furnishings and decor.

We are a small team of craftsmen & artisans with a variety of skills that come together to make beautiful aesthetics.
We are friends first. We have grown to respect each others' talents, personality and skills and know how to best apply them to each situation.
We hold each other in high regard and we expect our clients to do the same.
As true artisans, we can create best in a place of freedom. Our hope is that you trust us to listen first, design second, build third. We call this design mediation.
